Carmel, CA— The Center for Photographic Art (CPA) located in the historic Sunset Center, is pleased to announce our annual 8x10 Fundraising Exhibition!
It's time for CPA's most exciting and important fundraiser of the year: Our 8 x 10 Fundraising Exhibition! Our gallery will be filled with a wide-ranging selection of small-framed works of art generously donated by our talented community of photographers. We have works by over 150 established and emerging artists, both legendary photographers and rising stars, from California and beyond! This year's featured photographers include Kiichi Asano, Wynn & Edna Bullock, Susan Burnstine, Martha Casanave, Binh Dahn, Pulitzer Prize winner Preston Gannaway, Roman Loranc, legends Ted Orland and Bill Owens, Ryuijie, Sage Sohier, Jerry Takigawa, Brian Taylor, Melanie Walker, Edward Weston and many more!
Once again, our 8×10 Fundraiser will be an online auction instead of a raffle and we're so grateful to iGavel Auctions for hosting our fundraiser for the seventh year in a row. Come to CPA to see the exhibition which includes many unique works, as we will also have special raffle prizes and photographs just for visitors to the gallery. You might just pick up a beautiful Beth Moon baobab tree for the price of a $10 raffle ticket. That's way cheaper than an avocado toast these days! Stop by to see what surprises are awaiting you and also to decide what pieces you'll bid on!
Join us for the opening reception of CPA's 8x10 Fundraising Exhibition on a rare Friday reception on September 18. The event will begin at 4pm and the CPA gallery will be open Wednesday-Sunday from 12-4 for the public to view this exciting show (and buy raffle tickets!)! The online auction will be open for bidding from September 17-October 8. 2026. Come in and choose your favorites or view the show online! Let the bidding begin!
