"Save Our Shores" Beach Cleanups
Through Save Our Shores, a Monterey County nonprofit, visitors can take part in helping California practice sustainability by signing up for Beach Cleanup days. Volunteers remove trash and debris from beaches that are later used as recorded data. This data is then used to help influence policy and increase awareness of how we as a society impact our environment. Come save the shores of Monterey on your next trip to beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea.
