  • Horizon Inn and Ocean View Lodge, located next to each other, are offering two romantic getaway packages: "A Carmel Kiss is Twice as Sweet" plus an "Anniversary Package." The "Carmel Kiss" package includes flameless votives and fabric rose petal decorations, two logo champagne glasses and bottle of premium champagne, box of handmade chocolates, and heart-shaped sachet. Cost is $59 in addition to room rate. The "Anniversary Package," $69 plus cost of room, includes champagne, strawberries, roses, and a keepsake gift.
  • Four downtown Carmel properties­, Candle Light Inn, Carriage House Inn, Svendsgaard's Inn, and Wayside Inn,­ are each offering a "Romantic Getaway Package" through March 31. It includes complimentary champagne and truffles upon arrival, and an intimate dinner for two at a participating Carmel restaurant ($75 value).
  • Tradewinds Carmel, offers the "Ultimate Romance Package," available through May 1, which includes two nights in a king room with a view and fireplace; private balcony and jetted tub; fresh floral bouquet; gourmet chocolates; breakfast in bed; two 90-minute massages; dinner for two at a Carmel restaurant; two tickets to the Monterey Bay Aquarium; and two Kimono robes made in Bali exclusively for Tradewinds. Rate is $1,595 plus tax.
