Chef Pèpe is one of Carmel's most prolific and well-known restaurateurs and Little Napoli is his labor of love. "I designed the interior to reflect the look and feel of my grandparents' living room in Napoli with photographs, pictures and Italian memorabilia on the walls and Italian music playing in the background," says Pèpe.

The fare holds to that aesthetic as well. "It's Italian country-style cooking. Rustic and spicy, authentic, ingredient driven. We travel to Italy every year to visit family and continue to refine our menus based on what we learn there." A perfect example is the Baked Cannelloni Tricolore "Our salute to the Italian flag," chicken, veggie and ricotta cannelloni with three sauces: marinara, alfredo and pesto.

Little Napoli truly is a family affair. "All recipes are created by myself and my sons Christian and Gian Antonio," Pèpe says. "Our servers have been with us many years and they are like family as well."

Founded in 1990, Little Napoli is one of Carmel's truly iconic restaurants. Guests love the energetic, congenial atmosphere, prompting comments such as "Little Napoli is lively as a festa, packing more Italian charm into its cozy quarters than most big city restaurants."

Lunch: Saturday & Sunday, 11:30 am - 3 pm
Dinner: 7 Days/Week, 4 pm - 9 pm
Happy Hour: inside Bar Napoli (next door), Sunday through Friday, 4 pm - 6 pm (closed Saturdays)
