Carmel-by-the-Sea Weddings : Ceremony and Reception Sites - Carmel Beach

If your event will be more than 75 people and/or use a service provider, such as a caterer or the delivery of tables/chairs you will need to obtain a Beach Event Permit.  If your event is over 100 people (including event staff), you will also need to obtain a Coastal Development Permit through the Community Planning and Building Department.
