The day Seventh & Dolores welcomed its first guest, it became an instant classic; a true Carmel institution. Due to its name, it's not difficult to find. Once you find the corner, just look for the contemporary restaurant with stylish seating out front and an ambiance all its own.

"7D," as it's known, is the only exclusive Niman Ranch steak house in the country, serving only Niman Ranch beef, lamb and pork. Head Chef Raymundo Jimenez Aquino leads a back-of-house team of magicians to create a transcendent culinary experience in their glass-encased kitchen.  While the marble bars and fresh seafood have been awe-inspiring, the showstoppers are the all-natural meats from Niman Ranch, included 28-day dry aged steaks that melt in your mouth, and a burger that has been known to induce actual tears of joy. The hand-cut steak tartare ("Sexy to the point of indulgent") and seafood towers are other outstanding menu offerings and pair nicely with a Warm Napa Wedge with a miso vinaigrette.

The friendly and joyful hospitality staff offers world-class service with the warmth of a neighborhood restaurant. Due to the soaring dimensions and sleek interior design, 7D diners often comment that they feel as if they're dining in a big city restaurant, especially after dark.
